HIGHLIGHTS
Ljubljana – Logar Valley
In the morning we start our journey to northern part of the country. After entering the Logar Valley we will make our first photo stop in that area – famous landscape with mountains serving as a background. This panorama was used in many promotional videos of Slovenian tourism – even before the independence.
E-bikes – Rinka Waterfall
At this point we change the means of transport to e-bikes and we start exploring the valley. Our goal will be the second highest waterfall in Slovenia, Rinka Waterfall with its 150 metres downfall. Seven kilometre long road will take us through the valley. In order to see the waterfall we will descend our bikes and make a short walk uphill, but don’t worry, this will take us only around 15 minutes in one way. We can do it! Up there, as we are enjoying the very nice view, we can also relax and treat ourselves with coffee, tea or simply a glass of beer. Sounds good, right? And we deserve it, of course.
Ater biking and walking – a carriage ridding-Lunch
We get back in the saddle of our bikes and we return them to our starting point. What next? There will be a carriage waiting for us which will take us on a small tour. Well this sounds good! And you know what sounds even better? A nice, tasty lunch, based on traditional Slovenian food. Yum, yum, can’t wait for that!
Archery time
Being fed and recharged with energy we can now continue our day with another activity. It is time for our archery lesson. We will learn how to use a bow (even if you have experiences with this activity, you have not done it in the Logar Valley yet), upgrade our knowledge and try the 3D simulation with artificial animals. Winner gets the prize? You never know…
Exhibitions
Is now time to go, to leave this heaven on earth? Well not quite yet. Before we go, let’s take a look at the Multimedia presentation of Solčavsko ant the Butterfy and Fossil Exhibition. To get a better knowledge of the place and to keep it in an even better memory.
WHAT DO I NEED FOR THIS TOUR? Firstly – a smile on your face. But we also recommend a nice comfortable shoes in which you can also walk a little uphill anduse a bike and appropriate clothes – as in this mountain area it can be a little cooler.
